Ceramic fiber tape is a flexible fabric material that is heat-resistant, heat-insulating, and fire-resistant, which is made by processing ceramic fiber threads through a flat weaving process. Ceramic fiber tape has excellent high-temperature resistance performance. Usually, the working temperature of fiberglass reinforced ceramic fiber tape can reach 650°C, while the working temperature of ceramic fiber tape with stainless steel wire can reach 1050°C, and the short-term use temperature can reach up to 1260 °C. The working temperature of ceramic fiber tape can be further improved by adding ZrO2, even up to 1400 °C. This excellent heat resistance is far superior to fiberglass tape and asbestos tape. Compared with asbestos tape, Ceramic fiber tape has the characteristics of environmental protection and pollution-free, and its application fields are more extensive. In addition, ceramic fiber tape has the advantages of low thermal conductivity, thermal shock resistance, low heat capacity, etc.

Ceramic fiber strips with aluminum foil on the surface have better heat insulation performance.

Application

Ceramic fiber tape are widely used for sealing furnace doors, high-temperature flues, lining of air ducts, expansion joints in various insulated industrial kilns, as well as high-temperature insulation and insulation of petrochemical equipment, containers, and pipelines.
