Texturized fiberglass cloth is also named texturized fiberglass fabric, which is made of high-temperature resistant and high-strength fiberglass yarn after texturized treatment and special processing. Texturized fiberglass cloth is a new type of fabric developed on the basis of continuous fiberglass open-width filter cloth. Unlike continuous fiberglass filter cloth, the difference lies in that the weft yarn is composed of all or part of the puffed yarn.

Texturized fiberglass cloth has superior wear resistance, strength, and softness to ordinary fiberglass fabrics. In addition, it has a good feel and no harsh-luster. Texturized fiberglass cloth has high strength, low density, high temperature resistance (550 ℃), low thermal conductivity (<0.035 keal/m.h. C) and good heat insulation.

Texturized fiberglass cloth is suitable for the heat insulation of soft and hard pipes, the thermal insulation cover of heaters and freezers, fireproof enclosures, and other insulation protective layers, and the insulation of marine equipment. Compared with asbestos cloth, it has dust-free so it has outstanding advantages such as no harm to the human body ,so that it is a substitute for asbestos cloth.

In terms of filtration,due to the puffy yarn, strong coverage ability, and good air permeability, texturized fiberglass cloth can improve filtration efficiency, reduce filtration resistance, and have high dust removal efficiency up to 99.5%, with a filtration speed of 0.6-0.8 meters/minute. Texturized fiberglass cloth can increase the surface area of dust collection, prolong the time of dust collection, and benefit the agglomeration of fine dust. Due to the small filtration resistance of puffy fabrics, the filtration efficiency and speed have been greatly improved.

So the other important application of texturized fiberglass cloth is used for high-temperature atmospheric dust removal and recovery of valuable industrial dust, such as cement, carbon black, steel, metallurgy, lime kiln, thermal power generation, and coal burning industries.
